I just found a sweet website called rootclip.com Its a site that allows upstart filmmakers to get a shot at success and 500 bucks. And Michael Moore. Basically, they(Rootclip.com) create a one minute video which starts off the first chapter of a do-it-yourself video story. The following chapters(excluding the last chapter) can be done by anyone with a camera, some time, and a few hours to kill. Then you get voted on by your peers(all your friends and family that you forced to sign up and vote on you) and if you win(have enough friends and family) you get a nice 500$ Visa gift card, and a shot at entering a video for the last chapter. The lucky fella who wins the last'n gets to take a nice all expense paid trip to the Traverse City Film Festival and meet Michael Moore. You know, those brothers who directed "The Matrix". Or was it that girl who directed "Lost in Translation"...
As you know I have a terrible memory for names and either way I'm sure they/she isn't a conspiracy theorist or fat or anything. But wowee, what a chance. Also, the winner/s might get to mingle with that ugly hag, Madonna. Unfortunately, I just found out, by actually reading the rules page, that I'm ineligible because I'm under 18. /sadface
Oh well, It still makes me hungry for getting out there and making films(mostly because a few of those winning entries aren't really that good, in my opinion) and actually doing something to get my filming career going!
Well, see ya'll later, maybe I'll finally have my review of Indy4 and Kung Fu Panda up in a few days and maybe Zaphod will have a nice hot delivery of creamy torrent goodness for you. Who knows, there might even be porn involved...
